Hi , Will all themes handle plugins that change them to fit mobile screens for page viewing?

Should I pick a theme that is mobile friendly and easier for the plugin to handle ?

Some of the themes seem to say that people can both view pages and you ‘yourself’ can edit them using a mobile ? Is this what the plugin descriptions are meaning or have I got it wrong ? (hopefully not the visitor to the webpage can edit it)

    Thanks very much indeed.

I’d suggest finding a theme that is mobile friendly without the use of a plugin at all. That will likely give you the best result and fewest problems.

Do I type in mobile friendly themes in search or look through all of them and hope it says it on there descriptions?

Is mobile friendly meaning it is an compromised one size fits all though ?

Thanks for you help that’s great advice to go without the plugin if possible.

Try searching for a responsive theme.

There are multiple terms for what you are looking for – so I’d try “responsive” “mobile” “device” – the problem is that the keywords include by a developer may not be consistent… Some themes will do this better than others – in a really well coded theme, it should not be “compromised” but you’ll have to do your own testing. Twentytwelve is a great “mobile-first” theme…so you could start there.
