Loss of serp position after installation of Google XML Sitemaps…

    Not more than approximately 7 days ago I installed Google XML Sitemaps plugin onto my new website, https://lovephrasesx.com/ . I am still in the process of populating it with content but have already structured it to the point of publishing and going live online.

    What puzzles me and this is what has prompted this posting, is that prior to installing and activating Google’s XML Sitemaps plugin, my homepage article was on page 14 of Google’s serp for my keyword “Love Phrases”.

    And now, immediately after creating my Google XML Sitemap and processing it successfully with Google Webmaster Tools, the article has gone from page 14 on my Google serp, to “nowhere to be found”.

    It was consistently placing on pages 14-16 as a new article days before I installed Google XML Sitemaps.

    Any ideas on what might have happened? Has this happened to you, and if it has, what did you do to remedy it?
