wordpress's dashboard isn't recognizing my site (using wampserver / localhost)

  • i ran into a problem with my wampserver (localhost), so i copied my WWW folder (which contains my site and wordpress), un- and re-installed wampserver. Now, despite copying my old WWW file to the new wampserver location, when i use dashboard/wordpress i cannot see any of my old content (pages, images, etc)
    (i know these items still exist, as i can open the folders adn manually look at them! I just cannot make wordpress find them and am going insane!!)
