email notifications to memeber of a class

  • I have buddypress courseware 0.9.7 installed…..we have members connected to the classes or groups/…but when a lecture is posted ..or an assignment is posted…nobody gets an email notification to inform them of the update …or to inform them of the new assignment or lectures…is there a way we can activate this notification ….I have checked all the handbook and support and can’t figure it out…I would really appreciate any help.
