    I’m looking for the same thing as well. I’d love it if the more tag worked so that we could put it in where ever we’d like. A limit would be good too.

    Im after the same thing.. anyone know how to edit their code to allow a defined except limit for the widget?

    Exactly what I was looking for – I take it no solution was found?

    Love to know this as well. Having to do something a bit bassackwards to get the idea done and I hate working outside of the plugin specs.

    We found that if you add the standard <!–more–> tag to your testimonials, it’ll show an excerpt in the testimonial widget, but just as an FYI, we’ve had only some success with it. For us, it works on the homepage only, and then still shows the full testimonial on other pages for some reason (that’s using the Canvas theme).

    I have the same here, It just works on some pages. Anyone came with a fix ?
