    If you set Postie “Preferred Text Type” to “text” then you can change the “Image Template” to use the thumbnail size for images.

    I had on mind something what this function does:
    set_post_thumbnail( $post, $thumbnail_id );
    not formating posted image.

    I see. You are wanting a “Featured Image”. This enhancement is on the list for a future version of Postie.

    How would you like this to work? Use the first image as the featured image? Have a command that specifies which image to use? I.e.
    featured: img001.png
