• Hey!

I am having an issue attaching the taxomony into the breadcrumb of a custom post type using pages as its parents. Does anyone know how to do this? All I can get is:

Page > Sub Page > Sub Page (Custom post type) > Custom Post Type Post

    For example:
    Products > Devices > Displays > HD12-PLER

Instead I would like it to be:

Page > Sub Page > Sub Page (Custom post type) > **Taxomony** > Custom Post Type Post

    For example:
    Products > Devices > Displays > **12″ Displays** > HD12-PLER

If you need anymore information, please let me know. Thank you very much for all your help!

Have you tried setting the root page for the custom post type to “Sub Page (Custom post type)” and then select the taxonomy as the hierarchy for the custom post type? You should be able to do this from the “Post Types” tab in the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page.

Thanks so much for the reply. Yep, already tried that. It just won’t pick up my Taxomony in the breadcrumb. I’m at a lost of what to do.

Does anyone else have a suggestion of how I can make this work or how I should re-organize my pages and posts?

Thanks so much and I really apperciate everyone’s time and help.

If the method I described is not working, then there is something else in your setup causing it to behave that way or the plugin is having a issue with certain taxonomies. I’ll try to reproduce this on my testbed. And, just for clarification, is the taxonomy you are trying to use a hierarchical or a flat taxonomy?
