wp-admin getting deleted on when I update plugins.

  • When I chose to update the plugins on a site the wp-admin folder is getting cleared. I have re-installed WP and still the error is occurring. Originally the PHP max_execution time was an issue but I have sorted that out now.

    The site is hosted on GoDaddy Shared hosting.

    I would appreciate any help on this matter as I am doing this site repair for a friend.
