Renaming Files?

  • So I was testing out this great plugin. I manage to upload it into any folders in my server.

    I test it out and I manage to make it working without having issues in WordPress 3.5.1

    But now I stumbled on how to rename the uploaded files.

    The things that I should like it to work…
    1) Users logged in website.
    2) Users tries to upload a file
    3) On uploading, any file that they send are renamed to their username. (Example: Mark, uploaded an Intro.doc. Intro.doc will renamed as Mark.doc or mark.doc)
    4) When there’s a same filename exist, it will be overwritten.

    I know this is sudden and selfish, but I really got no idea how to work on this. I have no experience working on WordPress but I would like to learn it slowly.
