Anyway to Add Delete @2x Images

Is it possible to have the plugin also delete @2x images that are created with WP Retina 2x? I’ve been doing a theme test and changing and regenerating thumbnails I have found that when I force regenerate the old @2x images are left behind. WOuld be a great feature since high resolution displays are the future trend.
