Hello All. Am I assuming correctly that the image of the tree in the sample theme is the slider? My site is maid2clean.me and I am wanting to get the image to display three images that can be clicked on that will take the user to the other pages. For example, if the photo is of the staff and the user clicks on it it will take the user to the about us page. I’m not using post so can I use the slider option?
    Thank you for your help

  • Hi LinaTee,

Yes, that image in the demo of theme is the Slider. You can add pages id also in the slider so when clicking on it, it will show the respective page.

Please read the instructions here https://www.themehorse.com/theme-instruction/clean-retina/#slider.

Also don’t forget to use the latest version of the theme, as the feature to use the pages also in the slider was introduced in later updates.

    Sanjiv,
When putting the page id in do I use the actual page I want to use, for example, about me page and have the image on the top of that page or do I do a separate page and just have the image on and do a <a href> to link to the about us page? So the home page/static page will have the photos going through and when you click on the photo it’ll take you to the page and on that page will be the image and content? Am I understand this correctly?
Thank you for your help, love the theme

    Hi,

First make a page let say About us page. Add featured Image to it and add some content on it and publish the page. Now, note the page id of the about us page which you can see in the all pages table. Take that id and put it in the slider options. Now, in the slider the featured image of that page ( about us page ) will be used as the slider image. Now, if you click on that image of the slider it will take you to the about us page.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
