Read more link questions – premium version

    I have the premium plugin, and I’m struggling with the read more link..

    In the actual testimonial, under the Testimonial Data, “Read More link” I have set a link that isn’t getting picked up in the widget’s “read more” link.

    For some reason, I also thought that if I set the URL Target in the Advanced section of the widget that I could set the link there, too, but it’s not working either.

    Also, where in the code could I find the alt text that is displayed in the hover of the read more link?

    I have version 2.7.14 and 1.7 premium.

    Don’t use “Read More link” unless you want to replace the auto-generated “Read more” link. The “Read More link” is more for directing users to alternate URLs.

    “target” is an attribute of the a tag.

    Basically, don’t do anything but install the plugins and use default settings. Then only adjust one or two things at a time to achieve the views you want.

    There’s no alt text for a tags, only title attributes. You can adjust the title text “Complete testimonial by ” via a language POT file.

    See FAQ 31, but remember to use the premium version language file as your pot base.
