    I am getting following error while configuring the lift search plugin in my WordPress site.

    “There was an error authenticating. Please check your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key and try again.”

    You’re using the Access Key and Secret Access Keys as given to you by Amazon? You should get these in step three of https://getliftsearch.com/documentation/#setup-amazon.

    I’m having this problem, using the Access Key and Secret Access Keys as given to me by Amazon on that page.

    I solved this issue. The problem was that my CURL didn’t have the right SSL certs. I needed to download updated certs and make sure my php.ini was pointing to them.
