Authors capabilities in New Media Manager 3.5

Since upgrade to 3.5 I have a problem with uploading immages by Authors on my WordPress page. I have done all possible things I have found past month on all kind of forums (turning of plugins, deleting them etc) eventually I end up creating new instance of the WordPress with fresh database where I moved table by table everything except options. I installed all necessary plugins and set up my theme options manually unfortunately problem persists.

My theme has an option to submit recipe by registered users, they also could add a photo in WordPress 3.4. Now authors can’t add a photo on the frontpage there is an error message while they trying upload picture via NMM(new media manager) however if I log in as an author and try to upload picture via backend with the OMM(old media manager) everything works perfect.

Today I have changed my test Author login to Editor and all suddenly started to work the only problem is that I dont want to give all my authors that Role because the will get capability to delete others articles, change themes etc.

So please WordPress Guys remove that bug or give us an update where we have option to turn on or of a NMM if it couses problems.
