    Hi There,

when using the Usernoise Pro plugin I thought about adding a link to my facebook and twitter page. So I decided the best way to do, was by edeting the plugin, instead of adding another plugin or something.

    So here’s the result:
    Example

    I edited:
    – usernoise.js
    – button.js
    – button.css

Might be an idea to build this in a next release?

Thanks for your efforts, but for now I think it falls beyond Usernoise’s purpose. Of course, if many people will say they want it – I will add this thingie.

I can understand that. Though, I think the small icon that’s added would be a nice thing for the next release. It makes the button just a bit more attractive.

Isn’t it possible, like some plugins do, to provide hooks for the plugin, so custom made changes won’t be gone after upgrading?

I hear you, but in this specific case hooks will not help – because buttons are added by Javascript, and custom JS that would add new buttons does not need Usernoise at all.

Yeah, I did add it with additional files now before upgraded to the latest version. But I do mentioned that the changelog of the plugin is not really up-to-date; it’s at version.8, while the plugin is at version .10. Would it be possible to update the changelog? it makes it easier to see if and which is changed so I know if there would be any additional things to change in the separated JS code.
