Need to duplicate post update function

I’m looking for a way to duplicate exactly the following manual process automatically:

“edit” an existing published post.
“update” post (without making any changes).

I need an automated solution that will run this process on all existing post. This is required because I use other plugins that will do perform certain post updates, but they are only tirggered by a manual post update.

I’ve been searching for days without any luck, and coding isn’t my forte. ANyone know if there’s any plugins out there to do this, or can instruct me on how to proceed? If anyone can help, I would really really appreciate it. Thanks!
