    Good morning,

I have the lastest version of bbb plugin for wordpress and my wordpress version is 3.5. I am thinking about updating to 3.5.1 but I am not sure because I have a problem with 3.5.

If I am not logged at my wordpress website the rooms I have created in settings->bigbluebutton are not appearing. They appears just if I am logged at my wordpress website /wp-admin and when I sign out it appears the same message again: “No meeting rooms are currently available to join.”

Could you help me on this please?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

  • I have seen this as well on 2 recent installs. the one today is running 3.5.1 wordpress pointing at test server.

You can create a single meeting.

But after creating the single meeting the list of meetings is blank.

From the home page widget you can join fine. After the meeting, could go to wp-admin login to settings page, and you see the meeting, if has JOIN, END and DELETE option now When you click JOIN again it returns a blank settings page.

Logged back in wp-admin, can see it fine, and I could END it, but not join.

    Will troubleshoot some more.

    Hi Ivan and Stephen,

I just cannot reproduce the problem you are pointing at. Can you provide more details about your WordPress deployment, like version, if it is multisite deployment, any particularity you have in your users configuration like customized roles, any other plugins you have installed.

Because in a clean and plain vanilla 3.5.1 installation there is no such problem.

One more thing that might help is that you set your debug in development mode. in wp-config.php set to true:

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

And let us know what results you have

@ivan.santos.fernandez that is a behavior that could be happening in a multisite installation. If this is the case the problem is not related to the plugin but to the way wordpress isolate date for the sites in a multisite installation.

Look into all the sites you have access to. The meetings could be in your main site or in any of the others you have access as admin.

You will have other issues in a multisite installation because it is not supported on 1.3.2.

@stephen The fix for the problem of no joining meetings using the admin UI is fixed in the development branch (trunk). It is going to be part of 1.3.3, as well as some adjustments to permissions in order to support multisite installations.

Federico, it 1.3.3 tested on Multisite yet, I was going to try to configure it this week. I didn’t see it mentioned in release log.

    thanks

Indeed, I tested it in a multisite deployment but I didn’t update the readme file. What we can say is that the function is there but not officially supported.

I guess could be part of the next release, let’s see.
