WordPress Image Gallery Issue

I’m trying to create a simple wordpress image gallery as shown here: on this wordpress website

However, on step #8 I do not have a “Type” option where I can select slideshow, tiles, square tiles or circles. Furthermore when I create an image gallery anyway it just displays as thumbnails and when clicked it takes you to another page where you have to click on the thumbnail image again only for it to pull up on a blank white page.

Is there not a similar function in the www.remarpro.com setup?

I’d like it to display in the lightbox with the captions as shown at the bottom of this wordpress website in the examples. Can anyone help?
