    Jetpack Mechanic ??

This feature is only available for WordPress.com users so far.

But we are planning on porting this feature over to Jetpack users in a future Jetpack release, so keep an eye on our News blog!

If you go on Jetpack’s homepage youe could read:

Jetpack supercharges your self?hosted WordPress site with the awesome cloud power of WordPress.com.

Moreover, when you go to the Sharing page, at the bottom of the page you can read:
Check out what the Sharing buttons look like, below this post!

It’s buttons not button, and the “Like this” button is there, to make self?hosted WordPress users as happy as the WordPress.com users.

Btw, I have my site linked to my WordPress.com account, and I was wondering why I get the statistics and cannot do the same with Like this?

Are you really sure it’s not available yet?

I’m sorry, but you were too fast to think that my question is resolved. It’s not!
My previous post proves that something is still not clear, because the answer you gave me wasn’t correct. So I still expect to get a correct answer.

Sorry if the sharing support docs confused you.

While we do intend to port the Like button over to Jetpack, we haven’t developed this feature yet. We’ll post about it as soon as it becomes available in Jetpack.
