creating categories.php

    I’ve never done it before, I can do archives.php file but I can’t work out what php I need for the categories to show up?

  • what are you trying to achieve ?
    I’m confused as to why you want this file ?

    This is how to make a category show up:

    o Go to your admin page ( aka Dashboard ) and to the
    o Manage/Categories page.
    o There you can “(add new) and give it a name.

    The new category will probably not show up until you publish your first post in that category.
    When you go to Write/Post you tick a checkbox for the category you want to post under.

    If this didn’t help: What theme do you use?
