Most my Images have been wiped out

I noticed this the night before the update but didn’t pay much attention thinking it was just loading slowly. Then the next night I caught on quickly, so I did the update thinking that is what it possibly is. Well. No it wasn’t. As Bluehost guided me through the update, They gave me some tips. I tried a different theme twenty eleven, I even deleted my whole site, since I am new here and reimported my .com site two or three times because I kept getting errors. Everything that was already duplicated, triplicated, So I deleted everything again. I have deactivated all my plugins. Still no images. I am just about to give up. I have had so much frusteration with this after hours on end it ruined my vacation, and then some trying to switch to .org… now this. I want to create a gallery and can’t do without images.
