• Hi Everyone,
It has been a while since my last usage of wp few years back.
However, i just install the script and update it to the latest version 3.5.1 but when trying to set up the permalinks, i found out the page is showing blank

    https://www.xxx.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php

    IT is blank page.
I tried to manually download the file of wp 3.5.1 and upload the wp-admin/options-permalink.php but it is still the same.
Just wondering if is this file is no longer being used in wp ?

    Many thanks

  • That file is still used. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hi Esmi,

yupe… this is new site, so basically there is no plugin being installed yet but earlier i did delete all the plugin via ftp but it doesnt work.
I did try as well on the twelve (theme name) and my own custom theme, none of them working.
i reuploaded all the files of wp 3.5.1 in which i manually download from wp.org as well but to no avail.

hmm … At the moment, i am using one of the 3rd party for the permalinks.. custom-permalinks.0.7.15 hopefully it is good and able to replace the current file for me ??

    thanks
