WordPress theme twenty-thirteen 20-13 release date and suggestions

    Hi,

    I’d like to know when will the WP 20-13 theme come out.

    Also:

    Will themes 2011 & 2012 become out of date (say in 10 years time)?

    Will the theme 2013 be similar to 2011 or 2012?

    I want something similar, but with more options to change the colors and fonts (ie: headings, links, page colors(eg, option to change the color of specific pages)).

    Not for a few months yet. My guess is that it will be released ether just before or as part of WordPress 3.6

    Will the theme 2013 be similar to 2011 or 2012?

    In terms of colour, probably. The only other thing I have heard is that it will be built to show off what can be done with post formats. I’m also hoping to help with accessibility features and testing.

    Oh, thanks for the reply.

    But I also need to know can I keep using themes 2011 or 2012 for more years, will they become incompatible with newer WP versions updates?

    There are no plans to “retire” 2010, 2011 or 2012. They will continue to be updated for the foreseeable future.

    Oh, that is good.

    With the color issues, will 2013 have more options? The 2011 theme only has 2 basic color schemes, I hope we can have something more flexible.

    Usually the default WordPress themes are only made to satisfice, so I don’t think so.

    Just wondering how similar is this 2013 Theme to 2011?

    It looks they are rather different ?? The font size on the menu bar (2013) is very small while the background colors are not uniform…Is it possible to make it very similar (or ??? not too sure what to say here ?? I know these Themes all change…) to 2011 in its layout but with additional improved features like a more flexible Random Header etc…

    Also a black background for 2013 possible?

    Also without using the WP gallery feature, can we randomise the uploaded images so when the user refreshes the page, the images change their positions?

    Also can I put the site Logo somewhere next to the words above the Header?

    But big thanks to the 2013 WP Theme team…appreciate it ??
