Simple Market Theme–Need Immediate Help!

  • Hi, I am using the SimpleMarket theme and I need immediate help! I can not login to my website, I go to the url and get this error: Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /hermes/waloraweb088/b599/moo.scrapbooksetcflcom/wp-includes/post-template.php:2) in /hermes/waloraweb088/b599/moo.scrapbooksetcflcom/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

    I have no idea how to fix it–any help would be appreciated. Either respond here or email me at [email address moderated – this forum does not provide support via email]

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    any other suggestions? was unable to reset plugin folder and to worried about causing further problems to try number 1 and tried number 2 but it didn’t work it just gave me a clean slate even when I tried to upload the old files.

    This is needed as part of the basic troubleshooting process. Your content remains safe in your database.

    I don’t know, Like I said I did that and the error went away but I had to have my host company restore my files back to the error because the new download of WordPress removed everything. The files were not safe and I can’t risk losing them again.

    What files? WordPress does not store anything in files.

    Okay I got the plugins reset but it didn’t work still got the same error which leads me to believe it doesn’t have anything to do with the plugins.

    Now you need to switch themes as I suggested above.
