I have a series of menus involving content for age groups but under different sections, for example:

    Menu Item
Learning – Age Group 0-5, Age Group 6-10, Age Group 11-15
    Social – “, “, ” (same age groups)

    etc…

The content under each menu item and age group will be unique. I’m trying to figure out how to implement this both from a menu and page/post standpoint. Do I use categories here or is there some other way that is efficient? Remember I have to also list the age group menu items as well.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

  • Have you considered creating a custom menu.?

I was looking at that but is changing the Title Attribute going to create a different link? I may be misunderstanding something here but I was considering using the Categories as an option.

If you’re referring to the menu item title, then no. The link url remains the same.

It appears that since I can create pages with the same name, the Permalink will simply append the name with a “-2, -3, etc”. However, there’s no way to distinguish these when adding them to the menu.

I guess that’s a limitation I have to deal with for now.
