Redirect of User and/or Author role lands correct but..

    As the topic titel says, Peter’s Login Redirect works fine in terms of the User and/or Author landing on the correct page.
    However, after clicking the +New Post button on the top of the page, it goes back to the homepage instead of the page where a new post can be written.
    I have Authors log-in through the websites/wp-admin log-in page.
    What can I do about this?

    PS. Theme is TwentyTwelve, 3.5.

    I’d really like to add authors but cannot get it right.

    Hi, that is not a workflow that the login redirect code would affect. I’d suggest checking other plugins or rewrite rules that could be the cause.

    Always a wise strategy to check other plugins.
    The Under Construction Plugin caused the problem.
    It was activated and set to off ofcourse but it needed to be fully deactivated really.
