• Hi!

This is a great plugin and I was loving it until just a few days ago the client reported not being able to create slideshows with more than one image.

What happens is when you go into the widget and upload/pick images to show in the slider, the first one registers fine, then as soon as you upload/pick a second image the image thumbnails show broken links.

I am not sure if there’s any conflict with other plugins but I deactivated the only plugin that I added in the last few days (SEO by yoast) and it didn’t help.

    Here’s the broken slideshow example:
    https://balticroom.com/venue/

The funny thing is, there’s one instance of the slideshow that actually works.

I suspect the error happens when you are setting up the slider instance within the widget screen.

Any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks,
    Akira

I’m using Gantry framework by Rocket Themes, and a modified theme based on their default theme skeleton. The slideshows are displayed in the same widget location but through exceptions/override set within Gantry to load different instances of the slider…

    Hope someone has an idea!

We tested the plugin deeply about multiple instances in same or different pages, it should work properly.

I checked the links that you gave but didn’t find any glitch, maybe you changed or solved your problem?

If you can reproduce the problem and give more detailed information about the scenario, we can confirm that’s a bug and fix it asap.

Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it.
    Have a nice day.

hi jrds, thanks for the reply!

The problem still persists. We switched to the first instance of the slideshow for every page, just to get moving toward launch.

I just changed a page https://balticroom.com/venue/ to a new instance of the slideshow widget, and the images show up as broken.

(the link to the images are showing up as: “https://balticroom.com/br/wp-content/plugins/weptile-image-slider-widget/cache/brA-resized-630x315rray”)

It’s fine for the first image, then as soon as I upload/select a second image, both thumbnails show up as broken in the widget panel. I took a screenshot for your reference, too. Here: https://balticroom.com/br/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Picture-2.png

Any help would be much appreciated!

No dice after deleting the plugin, reinstalling it from the fresh download. Are there database tables I should delete maybe?

    (@dkompany)

Couldn’t quite fiddle with the database (it’s godaddy on client-side and I’m not quite comfortable changing their settings in order to get in). _any_ help would be much appreciated!

    Hi again,

First of all you should NOT need to fiddle with database for any conflicts with our plugin. I can see that something in the codes returns an array value instead of filename or file extension. This can be a php version/setting related issue. I think I can’t help you more if I can’t test our plugin code in your server.

    (@dkompany)

Okay. Can you fiddle with it on our live server? I can send the admin credential if you are willing… please PM me at akira at designkompany.com
