Include Child Categories When Category is Excluded

  • Great plugin.

    Only one question – I have a section of my blog with a quote for every day – they are organized with “quotes” as the parent category and the “author” of the quote as a child category for example:

    example.com/quotes/albert-einstein/postname

    I would like to exclude the related posts from all the quotes (parent) category to include all the author (child) categories.

    Right now, every time I post a new quote and add a new author, I have to go to the related posts plugin to exclude that author.

    It would be great to have the admin page provide a checkbox to have the category include all the child categories as well.

    Or, is there an easy hack to the code to allow this?
