How to add excerpts of my posts in my side bar

Hi,

I’m creating a theme from the scratch and I need to display the 3 last excerpts of my posts in my sidebar and this only for the pages of my site.

What is the code I have to add in my sidebar file ? Is there a way to detect that the page displayed is a “page” and not a “post”.
