Need help with adding slider

  • I am working on setting up a non-blog basic site. I am creating a simple theame myself and I am using pages, not posts, since my site is not a blog.

    When I try to add slides – they never are being displayed/scrolled.

    I tryied using WP Nivo slider and now am trying Promotion – no luck.

    Most sliders require that you label your posts as a “featured post” to show up in the slider. And from what I’ve seen, pages usually don’t show up in sliders.

    Also, this forum is for WP installations. You probably want to try the plug-in forum or ask the plug-in creator for help.

    thank you. I did not know you can set posts as featured. I do set images as featured, but they still are not showing up in the slider.
