WordPress SEO by Yoast widget below editor on page is empty/blank

WordPress SEO version:I did this:
Installed the plugin and edited a page.I expected the plugin to do this:
Show me options to edit title, description etc.Instead it did this:
The widget below editor on page is empty/blank it says “WordPress SEO by Yoast” and I can hide/show the contents – but all I see it a 2 pixel line when showing the content.Looking at the tabs on this page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#general I can click them, ie “General Home Post Types Taxonomies Other Help” – however they are all empty. All I can see is the save button beneath them.
