Can we make the connect screen appear in a pop up?

Hello thanks for your work on this plugin. I would like to use this on my site but i was wondering if a pop up window can open one someone clicks on “Connect with twitter” button? I don’t want people getting confused and moving away from my site. This is the only feature this plugin lacks. Hopefully there’s an answer
