Cannot delete player from player list

  • Hi,

    I had to create several players and now some of them have become useless due new width / height options in my website design.

    My players were named like Basic720 or Basic600 acording to the width i needed so i can faster remember the shortcodes for the player.

    If now i have let’s say Basic940 as a new player and i will never need Basic720 i tried to delete that player using the button next to it the player list.

    I get this:

    Warning: unlink() [function.unlink]: No such file or directory in /home/content/35/8355835/html/wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/framework/LongTailFramework.php on line 123

    and the player does not delete and now i ams tuck with a big list of players which does not affect me much but is in a way frustrating to see that not working. Any ideas?

    This is a bug that we are going to fix. You should still be able to edit the players, though.

    Yes, i can edit them but this is a bug you’d better not take with you while working on implementing v6 with wordpress.

    Any idea when the bug is it gonna be fixed?

    I can try to get a closer ETA for you. Yes, we wouldn’t keep this in the V6 one. What do you mean by “kind of” missing/

    after a month, still same error. cannot delete these annoying players. when is this going to be fixed?

    I’m having the same problem too. Can’t delete those players. Is there at least a way we can manually edit the database to remove those unused players?

    It should be fixed for the release of the plugin which supports JW6, which will be going into beta shortly. You can always try to do it in the DB, but we can’t really help with that…
