Fast Image Insert getting hung up on upload

  • Hi,

    I’m having issues with Faster Image Insert stopping in the middle of multi-file uploads. Sometimes it uploads several….other times just a few…then it gets hung up on a file part way through that images upload. I’m uploading 4-25 files normally, all 200-400kb each….so it’s not the number or file size. Just to be safe I uploaded to Wp3.5 and uploaded all plugins to their most recent update…still having the same issue.

    When I upload with the browser uploader it’s painfully slow to do it this way…one by one…but it does work so I think it must be this plugin. I also deleted the one I had and installed a new one just to see if the last could have been corrupted…but it didn’t fix the problem. Today I tried to upload 13 images….it worked fine for the first 12 then got hung up on 13. I deleted that partially uploaded file from the gallery and was able to upload the rest to my blog post with no problem….just want to get it working as it should with no hangups. i spoke with GoDaddy and they said it’s nothing on their end…probably a plugin conflict.

    I have some other plugins and I wonder if there isn’t some conflict? I’m a photographer not a WP pro so these plugins were set up by a few different people who helped me build my customized Wp template and backend. I really don’t know what most are or if I need them. I have others installed but deactivated, so I didn’t list them. The plugins I have activated are:

    Any ideas? I’d appreciate your input…like I said…I really don’t know much about plugins and am new to wordpress. Thanks!! JK

    I think the best idea would be to try out a local install without plugin, to see if it’s flash plugin or browser related issue.

    FII plugin does nothing to the upload process, I highly doubt it’s plugin related issue. (You are still using the default core wordpress upload, note that WP3.5 made significant change on their upload module)
