What will happen when I change themes?

  • I have had the Yoko theme since last July, and I’m thinking of changing themes to make my blog more attractive/dynamic. If I switch themes, what happens to my content, plug-ins, widgets, etc? Thank you.

  • Whenever I have done that, my own problems have only been in needing to restore widgets that will have to be re-positioned after the new theme has been actived. In my Twenty Twelve Theme, they get dropped into an inactive area during the switch and can be put back in place later.
