The plugin is not working, I need help

After updateing PHP to 5.3, now I have the following message on all blogs:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/stojsa/public_html/vehicles-spot.info/wp-content/plugins/wp-piwik/wp-piwik.php on line 745

Any help?

Did you configure WP-Piwik after updating PHP? Looks like WP-Piwik causes a timeout while connecting to Piwik.

After updating php, I deleted and reinstalled the plugin, but when I try to enter details, it timed out every time.

What I did is:

from the blog page, I clicked on edit page, then deleted the plugin (did not go to the dashboard).
Installed optimizer plugin and deleted two wp-piwik files that are left.

Installed the plugin again. Then when I clicked on settings->wp-piwik, it opened that page fast (before it took ages to open).

But when I entered the URL where the piwik has been installed and auth token, then it timed out again!

What am I doing wrong?

So it times out before you were able to enter the Piwik path and auth token? Or did you configure (= enter Piwik path & auth token) yet?

I cannot configure (enter Piwik path & auth token).

I enter details and when I click save settings, it keeps loading for a long time and then times out.

I get the blan page with the following message:

Ok, and after the timeout, you can open the WP-Piwik settings page again?

Or does WP-Piwik cause a timeout every time after you tried to save your settings once?

Yes, I can open wp-piwik settings page again. All my details are there.

Sorry, the settings page is blank (I mean my details are gone). The fields are blank.

Any ideas?

Are you using SSL (httpS) to connect to Piwik?

Does the Trusted Piwik Hostname fit the Piwik URL you enter?

Are you using some kind of “anti bot htaccess” or similar?

Are you using a caching plugin?

In addtion you can try to set an user agent (see settings page) or to improve your execution time a bit.
