• My web host forced me to delete my database and do a restore, but as I go through the site I see that the backup is missing some pages and parts of pages. If I could just try to restore the missing pages (perhaps they were damaged during the import) it would be less work than going back to an older version due to issues with the web host, or if I could view them I could do a copy and paste of the text. Is this possible?

    Hi EllieNowels2,

You can probably export all your posts from WordPress. Then backup the current WordPress.

You can then restore backup you have from before, and after you’ve got up and running, import the export you did previously. It is supposed to ignore duplicates but you should check first before you do anything.

If it ignored duplicates it should mean the import adds any missing posts into the database that the backup didn’t have.
