Theme error after customization

Hi,

I am trying to customize the site for my mom and I removed the header of the page to make my own. Everything looks nice in Firefox and chrome, but it seems internet explorer has a real issue with the site specifically with the slider.

I am a bit puzzled. I didn’t change that much. I pretty much just removed the top portion and put a new banner in. Any help is appreciated thank you.
