have you tried placeholder #_EVENTGCALLINK ? – https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/

I use that now, but I need to make a customized link instead of the default link that placeholder provides…..Thanks!

For that you can use #_EVENTGCALURL and use it in your formats like you did above
