Alright, I’ve tried as much as I can think of at this point. I’m engeinering a wordpress theme, and I installed XAMPP and WP2.0 on my Windows XP system. I did everything successfully and can view the page.

When I imported the database I made sure to search it before hand and replace all of my old domain entries with 127.0.0.1 . However, when I visit the main page (127.0.0.1/wordpress) nothing has changed as far as the change from mydomain.com -> 127.0.0.1 . I have gone into phpmyadmin and checked to see if it has changed, and the changes appear there — but not on screen.

I also can not login with my admin and password, I even tried using this old trick:
    https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/phpmyadmin/
    with no success.

I’m at a point where I need my dashboard to keep designing the theme. Any help here?
