Modest incompatibility with Edit Flow

We’re using the Edit Flow plugin to control our posts publishing and we also use CPTUI to have a custom post type of Article for magazine articles. The problem is that the Articles don’t show the custom post statuses (statusii?) of Edit Flow. Is this a fix you can make? Here’s a link to the same problem found w/Gravity Forms and the resolution.
