Custom post type with other fields than taxonomy

Hi,

i want to use the custom post types in wp but all examples which i found on the net are showing how to use the taxonomy with the custom post types.

But i would like to have fields like yes/no and other selections (drop downs). How could i achieve this? Is there any good post about that?
