  • Hi – i got a similar problem. I had a redirect added (which btw did not work) now deleted it (via the “reset all redirects” in the plugin menue) without effect. I manually deleted all plugin files but also no effect. The redirection is still in effect and visitors cannot access my site anymore because the redirections skips them away from my root adress. Where is the redirection info stored or how does it work so I can delete it completely? Help much appreciated!!

@zwanzmich – Did you find the redirection info? If so, where is it? Maybe that would also help me. Thanks!

Hi Adam – unfortunately I did not find the exact position but deleted all files from my server, set up a new wordpress installation connected it to my old database and did the rest through backups.

The only thing that seems to be obvious is that the redirect info is not stored in the database itself – seems to be somewhere in the plugin directory or even in the wordpress core. Also make sure to empty your browser cache or better restart your computer after any done chances.

Sorry that I could not help more.
    Good luck!

@zwanzmich – That was helpful, and good to know!

I took a look in my database, and found that the old redirects are being stored there. I also found a couple redirects that have been deleted from the WP admin, but they still exist in the database. I’m confident that this is the issue. The plugin doesn’t actually remove a redirect after its been “deleted” from the “admin interface”-side of the plugin.

    Dear plugin author,

Could you please make it so that the deleted redirects are also removed from the database? We’d really appreciate this!
