Site Access

  • When i try to access my site i get this: The connection has timed out. I can reach the site using a proxy, but i can’t perform certain functions and it’s sloowwww. Could there be something on my computer keeping me from the site, because i can get the site on other computers?
    Here is the site link: https://myiphonesource.hostzi.com. I’ve contacted my host provider and they tell me there is a problem with my script coding (it’s not related to hosting servers). I’m a bit of a newbie, so what does this mean?

  • Probably means the amazon script you have in there. In order for the page to fully load it is going out to amazon (as well as other sites) and getting data. If it is slow doing that then your page loads slow.

    Site loaded fast enough for me.

    I’m not sure if its the Amazon script, because i’m having this same problem on another of my sites that has no amazon script at all. Both sites are on the same web host, is it possible my ip address is being blocked, either by my host or something on my own computer? My host claims there is no problem on their end and they can access the site just fine. Since you can access the site also i’m thinking it could be something installed on my computer or a hack.
