• Hello there,
I could use some help here as being a novice with Wp.
What I want is next: in a new page to copy/paste my own HTML code.
I have built CSS image gallery and I want to use it inside some WP pages.
But WP is changing my code, cleaning <span>,
, adding links to my x.. and so on. And no, I don’t want to use WP gallery plugins.
    Any remedy..?
    Thanx
    alex

  • If you de-activate the Rich Text Editor it will stop messing with your html code:

Go to Users> and uncheck the box at the bottom for the Rich Text Editor and hit Save. Now you can paste in code to create a page for your gallery and it should stay. If ou are using CSS you may need to add some CSS code to your CSS-style page by editing the CSS page through Presentation>Theme Editor

    Hello, and thank you,

    I’ll check it..

BTW, the rich-text editor removes html coding for me. Its very frustrating. Esp if I want to have ‘<p class=”someclass”> blah blah blah ‘ WP will remove the closing P.

    My 2 cents.
