nggtags shows no text title or tags

Iuse this shortcode [nggtags album= … template=caption]
but it only shows the images no text or description beneath the imageif i use this [nggallery id=X template=caption] it displays the caption text
is there a workaround for showing the text when i use the shortcode for nggtags?
