magic_quotes_gpc set to active

    Hi.

    I’m getting an error message (minor) now that I’ve activated Ajax events calendar.

    PHP magic_quotes-gpc is set to active. Apparently the WP_Changes_log has a problem with this. It is causing formatting errors in AJAX calendar.

    What is the solution? I understand that there is one.

    Thanks so much. I’m on my third website using this calendar plugin. it’s great.

    I also get that message displayed. Other threads on this subject talk of adding the setting magic_quotes_gpc=off to the php.ini file. I have tried this both in the root directory and also the wordpress directory. However, the error message is still displayed on all dashboard pages.

    Having said that, the plugin is excellent!

    Well, as it turns out. I can use this particular plug in with the theme I”m using (Risen from theme forest). RISEN is coded in WordPress MU which is incompatible with AJAX calendar. Fortunately I found another event calendar that is fitting my needs well.

    I’ve actually deactivated WP_CHANGES_log plug in and all my errors went away. I don’t really need to track changes as there will be only a few people who can make changes anyway.
