• I’m having a strange problem. I am inserting a link to some text for a future blog post. I go to save the post as a draft, then when I go back to edit the post again, the link is gone leaving plain text.

  • I’ve seen a few issues like this since the update.

I would deactivate ALL of my plugins… manually empty the browser cache… and try again.

If it works.. you know you have a plugin causing a conflict.

Start there and see what happens… then let me know.

Still have the same problem after doing all that. Also noticed that some pictures I had below the text have different spacing than the way I left them before saving to draft.

Okay. The next step is to switch to the default twentytwelve theme.

Again, manually empty your browser cache and try again.

Still the same. Is there some kind of log I could be looking at for errors?

Well.. error logs will generate in various places in the file directories.

Also, you can set your wp-debug to ‘true’ in your wp-config.php file.

It’s VERY strange it is still happening with default theme and no plugins.

Have you manually emptied your browser cache?

Yeah, cleared cache, closed browser, loaded it up again with no luck.

Is there an easy way to downgrade? I’ve used the following guide and basically made my site unusable:

    https://etuts.org/manually-downgrade-wordpress/

Downloaded 3.5 again and am noticing icons and buttons missing now.

ALright, got all problems resolved except the original link’s disappearing problem. Is there a place to file bugs for developers to look at?
