• Hi,

I have a populated WP blog live online. The theme is customized, I did the various customizations on it while it was live.

What I want to do now is to develop the theme with the content on my pc.

I have installed WampServer, and I have Dreamweaver CS5.

I went to the CPanel for my WP blog and did a full and complete back up of the live site (including MySQL databases, Public folder, etc), and downloaded it.

How do I install this site on WampServer, so I can customize it in Dreamweaver?

Do I do a normal/fresh install of WordPress, then overwrite it with the backup files from my site? Or is there a way of directly adding the back up files to WampServer?

I am familiar with doing all this stuff from scratch, I can set up and install WP on new sites and mess around with them in DW, but for some reason I cannot seem to get this backed up site working.

    Thanks
