an error occurred while processing this directive

After deleting all of the files and re-uploading them,I’m still getting the following error when I try to install it: “[an error occurred while processing this directive]” That’s all it says.

I tried running the installation without editing or changing the wp-config file and with editing it and I receive the same error.

I’ve downloaded and uploaded it twice to no avail, any thoughts?

I recently installed wordpress on a different site (unrelated) with minimal problems but this is a new one for me and I can’t seem to find any relevant info :-/
